About Path of Venus
My Background
I'm Kay. I'm a Virgo Sun, Aries Moon, Gemini Rising, with Mars in Cancer, Venus in Libra, and an Aquarius Midheaven conjunct Black Moon Lilith.
I was born in California, raised in Pennsylvania, and currently live in Kansas City, MO with my wonderful husband and our three precious children. I'm a lifelong foodie and lover of film, fashion, beauty, books, music, and interior decor. My idea of a good evening in involves eating pasta in the bathtub and watching Pride & Prejudice for the millionth time, and I feel closest to God in museums and live music concerts of myriad variety.
Life is so good on the other side of my Saturn Return, embodying the unique expression of my energetic signature, but it wasn't always this way.
I was the weird girl growing up- foretelling pregnancies, accurately describing the people who died in my grandmother's restaurant, reading palms and interpreting dreams at sleepovers. Left to my own devices I liked to watch Jeopardy and indie films, read historical fiction, and study fashion magazines and the history of European royalty. I always looked at least three years younger than I was and spoke as if I was many years older.
My Background
The combination of my admittedly odd and diminutive appearance, my precocious intellectual development and varietal special interests, and my psychic giftedness made me an easy and frequent target for ostracization, and I spent the first part of my life feeling- and often being treated- like an alien on a foreign planet.
But this is the gift of the Midheaven- the very things that we are mocked, maligned, and misrepresented for by those we're not meant to serve and be in relationship with are the same things that are appreciated, respected, and needed by those we are.
My Midheaven in Aquarius makes me weird- different- 'early,'- innovative- unique. My Virgo stellium makes me service-oriented, organized, methodical, observant of detail and concerned with functionality. My Gemini ascendant gives me the capacity to take in information and make sense of it, with playfulness and a voracious appetite for learning, my Venus in Libra makes me passionate about beauty, art, pleasure, and joy, and my Mars in Cancer makes me a naturally nurturing crybaby romantic and domestic goddess.
I'm here to be free in authentically expressing my individuality, to beautify, to learn, to optimize, to nurture- and to show the way and support others to do the same- to be the Midwife to your Personal Renaissance.
My Philosophy
We each have a perfectly designed blueprint for our soul's journey in this lifetime; every challenge, opportunity, setback, rejection, synchronicity, and momentous occasion is an invitation to walk deeper and more precisely onto our Path, and serves as a crucial step in the process of realizing and actualizing our highest and most authentic selves.
No one else in the world has your natal chart, your experiences, your numbers, or the precise combination of myriad factors that can only result in You- which is why trying to emulate others- by making the same choices, following the same paths, and keeping the same time- will never feel resonant or fulfilling.
